Meet Denise Mullen

Denise is a NYC based actress originally from Boston. Her late father was an artist and poet who loved Shakespeare. He shared that creative passion with Denise and taught her how to recite Hamlet when she was very young. One of her earliest and most cherished memories is performing Shakespeare for her father’s friends when he had parties. That sealed her fate. As soon as she could, Denise moved to NYC.

A skilled and versatile actress, Denise can play the dramatic role of an abused wife or a secret killer. She also easily embodies the comedic charm of Rose from “The Golden Girls”. During her adventurous journey she’s appeared in numerous theatres across the city and can be seen in countless indie films.

Denise’s mission as an actress is to connect with the audience’s emotions by bringing them joy and inspiration through her performances. Artistic work that makes meaningful statements about the social and political world we live in, is something that excites her.

Denise loves to travel and has been spotted at least once a year hanging out on a beach in the Caribbean. Running is her Prozac, and the NYC Marathon was her first marathon in 2021. In 2022, she conquered the Chicago Marathon. One of her goals is to run all of the six World Major Marathons and earn her six-star medal! 4 stars to go! She lives happily with her amazing husband, two stepdaughters, and two adorable feline fur children.

I have worked with Denise on a number of plays and films over the years…her raw talent and ability to transform herself into various characters always left me in awe. She would be a great addition to any project.
